Open Positions at ASC Process Systems

ASC is hiring ASME welders for in-house and field pressure vessel fabrication work.  If you are a certified welder and can pass a 6G stick-weld test, then we need you.  Here's what it's all about:

• You'll be fabricating pressure vessels used for our Econoclave autoclaves.  Once qualified to our weld procedures, you'll be responsible for fitup, root pass, and sub-arc welding of pressure vessel components.  If you haven't done any pressure vessel work in the past, don't worry.  We'll train you. 
• We not only build pressure vessels in our shop in Valencia, CA, but we also field-fabricate vessels around the globe.  If you don't mind travelling, then there is ample opportunity to see the world.    
• We work anywhere from 8 to 12 hr/day, depending on how busy things are.  In the field, there is usually mandatory 10 hr days, so if you like overtime pay, then this jobs for you.  
• We run a very safe shop, so be prepared for lots of safety policy and procedures.  If you can't work safely, then this isn't the job for you.

We are hiring Fabricators for in-house and field fabrication and assembly of Econoclaves and ovens.  If you are a great welder/fabricator, then we need you.  Here's what it's all about:

• You'll be fabricating assemblies for our Econoclave and Oven projects.  You must be able to read standard fabrication drawings.   
• You'll work with our inventory people to get material for your job.
• If you're talented, you'll be given the lead role in assembling an Econoclave.  In this capacity, you'll be in charge of the fabrication and build-phase of the equipment.  
• You'll also be trained on how to insulate autoclaves and ovens.  Insulating will be a small yet important part of your job.     
• You'll be plumbing the autoclave, including threading and running pipe, bending stainless-steel tubing, and using compression fittings.  If you have strong plumbing skills, then you'll be perfect for the job.  If you don't, don't worry - we'll train you.
• You'll work in our shop and in the field.  Shop work hours range from 8 - 12 hrs/day depending on how busy we are.  Fieldwork is usually a mandatory 10 hrs/day.   We work throughout the world, so you'll get a chance to see places you've never been.    
• We run a very safe shop, so be prepared for lots of safety policies and procedures.  If you can't work safely, then this isn't the job for you.
