Dave is the founder, owner, and CEO of ASC. Prior to forming the company in 1988, Dave was engineering manager at Baron Autoclave (formerly Baron Blakeslee). Educated as a controls engineer at Univ. of Michigan, he is the author of CPC, Flextime, and other in-house engineering packages. He also developed the Econoclave® concept and many other equipment and control products sold by ASC. Dave divides his time between core management, new product development, and helping to improve ASC's sales, project management, engineering, production, human resources, and quality departments
In her role as CFO, Gudrun is in charge of the financial aspects of our organization while also playing a critical role in setting and executing strategic goals and initiatives. Her strong analytical background and commitment to operational excellence continue to strengthen ASC’s foundation and position the company for continued innovation and expansion.
Originally from Innsbruck, Austria, Gudrun brings a global perspective to her role. She holds degrees in Economics and Design from California State University, Northridge, and is fluent in both English and German.
Ethan brings nearly two decades of experience and expertise to his role as Director of Sales and Marketing at ASC Process Systems. Since joining the company in 2005, he has played a pivotal role in developing and managing customer relationships, with a strong focus on the Econoclave and oven product lines.
His deep technical knowledge, combined with his commitment to customer satisfaction, ensures a smooth, efficient, and positive experience for every client. Known for his approachable style and attention to detail, Ethan works closely with the sales and marketing, engineering, production, and customer support teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet the highest quality and performance standards.
Gus has worked for ASC since 2007 and is responsible for all aspects of manufacturing engineering including continuous improvements, global engineering changes, and document control. Gus received his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cal State University, Los Angeles.
Sean has been with ASC since 2009 where he is responsible for the disposition of design changes and redlines from the field and shop activities. Sean is an expert at solid modeling and is also a key player in generating sales drawings for customers. Sean received his BS in Automaton Engineering from ITT Institute.
Jojo has worked in the autoclave field for more than 25 years. Before joining ASC 10 years ago, Jojo worked at TEC and Baron Blakeslee. Jojo is ASC's most senior electrical engineer and is responsible for design of control systems and control panels for Econoclaves, Ovens, and other specialized equipment. Jojo received his BSME at Don Bosco Technical College, Manila.
Mari has worked for ASC for 12 years and is responsible for design of control systems and control panels for Econoclaves and Ovens. Mari is also a leader in developing internal systems to streamline the electrical engineering department. Mari received his BSECE at the University of San Carlos in the Philippines.
Ilya has more than 22-years of experience in advanced control systems and 7-years at ASC. Prior to ASC, he worked as a field engineer for Honeywell. Ilya is ASC's most senior control engineer and is an expert at PLC programming of complex systems and has experience in a wide range of PLCs including Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, PLCDirect, Honeywell, and others. In addition to being the Electrical Engineering Manager, Ilya has been responsible for the more advanced control system projects ASC has taken on, including nuclear sampling autoclaves and wet-process systems. Ilya received his MSEE from Polytechnical University, Russia.
Nate has worked at ASC in the electrical department for more than 12 years. In his current position, Nate manages all electrical work at ASC, including panel building, panel testing, conduit and wiring, and interconnect. He directly manages more than 30 electricians. Nate is also responsible for electrical planning and resource management. Before his current position, Nate worked at ASC as an electrician, control system specialist, and most recently as a shop supervisor.
Eric started at ASC in 2002 as a Mechanical Fabricator and soon became an ASME certified welder. He then continued to take on more responsibilities as a Field Maintenance, a Production Supervisor, and a Production Leader on some of ASC’s most unique and complicated projects.
During his two-year transition into his current title of Quality Control Manager, he continued to perform his duties as an Improvement Specialist / Fabrication Expert. Now fully transition into his role as the Quality Control Manager has successfully led ASC through three quality audits for our pressure vessel certifications in the US, Korea, and Europe. Eric holds a certificate of attainment from SAI Global for ISO 9001-2015 lead auditor training.
Eduardo has worked in the machinery maintenance field for more than 18 years. At ASC, he is responsible for managing our service & maintenance department. Eduardo spends his days working with customers, setting up service calls, managing ASC's service staff, and quoting new service & maintenance work. He is an expert at autoclave and oven operations and preventative maintenance. Eduardo holds an AIB Maintenance Engineering certificate.
Angie has worked at ASC for more than 12 years in the purchasing department. She currently manages the department and is also responsible for specialized buying of components and raw materials for ASC's projects.
Janice has over 10 years of experience in managing accounting and office staff. Janice is responsible for the day-to-day office operations, including bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, contract review, and job opening/closing. She also supervises a half dozen office personnel. Janice received her BS in Accounting from California State University - Dominguez Hills.
Nancy as worked for ASC for 6 years and is responsible for all travel coordination. Nancy's day is filled with managing the travel and living plans for dozens of field employees performing installation, startup, and commissioning services throughout the world.
Meighan has been with ASC since 2007 and is responsible for managing ASC's human resources policies and programs in several areas including recruitment, employee relations, payroll, and benefits.
Cruz wears many hats at ASC. He is the shop-floor supervisor for the shipping, and receiving departments.
Ben is responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining the processes that govern how ASC supports our employees and our customers. These processes include EXS (Employee experience strategy) and CXS (Customer experience strategy). Ben also oversees our Customer Service and Service & Maintenance departments. Before this role, Ben was our ASC’s Safety Manager for 7 years. He earned his Bachelors of Arts degree in political science from Lewis & Clark College and is currently studying for his MBA.
Sophia is responsible for supervision of ASC's document control department. ASC maintains an advanced computer-based system which controls drawings, documents, and red-line job records to meet ISO 9001 compliance.
Teresa is responsible for employee health benefits, 401k enrollment and leave of absence processing.
Mauro is responsible for managing the shipping and receiving teams, working with the production managers to ensure equipment ships on time, and purchasing for large equipment shipments.
As the Director of Production, Louis oversees ASC's mechanical department which includes autoclave fabrication, oven fabrication, and pressure vessel fabrication. Louis has more than 10-years in the management of production and facilities.
Gumaro is responsible for ASC’s training program. He brings a wealth of hands-on and classroom training experience that comes from over eight years of working as trainer for some of the world’s largest manufacturing companies. Gumaro is a certified electronic technician and has been certified as an IPC Trainer by the Association Connecting Electronics Industries.
Ty is the general manager of ASC's Utah Division. In this role, he is responsible for all operations within Utah, including support, sales, service, and field erection of large aerospace autoclaves for companies such as Boeing, ATK, and ITT-Excelis. Prior to joining ASC, Ty spent over 10 years working for ATK as an equipment and facilities engineer. Ty received his BSME from the University of Utah.
Elise has been with ASC since 2013 and has a BSME and masters from University of California – Los Angeles. As engineering manager, Elise directs, mentors, and supports more than a dozen mechanical engineers. Elise is also a talented designer, project manager, and supporter of ASC’s team values. Prior to her manager role, Elise was the chief designer and project manager for one ASC’s largest projects – the 28 ft.x 120 ft. Econoclave for Boeing’s 777x project.
Rene has been with ASC since 2013 and has a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. As field engineering manager, Rene manages the field project engineers and field project managers. Rene has worn many hats at ASC, including Deputy Mechanical Engineering Manager, Mechanical Engineer II, and Controls Engineer
Alex acts as the central interface between ASC and our customers regarding questions and requests for service and support and has over 10 years of extensive Customer Services experience.
As Autoclave Sales and Marketing Manager at ASC Process Systems, Sam brings over two decades of industry experience and a rare blend of technical sales knowledge and creative marketing expertise. Since joining ASC in 2014, he has led efforts to strengthen the company's brand and expand its digital presence through strategic marketing initiatives, including website development, SEO, photo and video production, product literature, and trade show engagement.
In his dual role, Sam also oversees ASC's autoclave, small works, support, and spare parts sales teams, drawing on his extensive experience in the autoclave industry to drive performance and customer satisfaction. His leadership and in-depth understanding of the sales process play a key role in supporting ASC's continued growth and industry leadership.
Before joining ASC, Sam began his career in the autoclave sector at Taricco Corporation in 2000, where he was responsible for marketing, equipment sales, project management, and control systems training. His creative background as a multimedia producer and avid photographer, combined with advanced proficiency in Adobe applications, continues to shape ASC's visual identity and communication strategy.
Cory is responsible for the smooth operation of our building, equipment, repairs and maintenance, and supervising our maintenance and custodial teams. Prior to moving to Facilities, Cory worked 9-years in our Mechanical Fabrication Department, gaining experience by working in different positions from a mechanic, lead, supervisor, and trainer.
Albert is responsible for the design and project management of non-standard equipment designs for Econoclaves, ovens, and custom equipment. He received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA.
Pavla is responsible for various Accounting processes including International Accounts Payable and inter-company transactions. Pavla earned her Bachelors of Science in Accountancy from Cal State Northridge.
Nicolas "Nico" is an experienced and results-driven professional serving as the Controls Manager at ASC Process Systems. In this role, he oversees and manages the controls engineering teams, ensuring the successful design, implementation, and optimization of control systems for ASC's systems and processes.
With a strong foundation in mechanical engineering, Nico holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota. His technical expertise and leadership have been instrumental in streamlining operations and ensuring the efficiency and reliability of ASC’s control systems.
Nico is passionate about fostering a collaborative and innovative environment within his team, empowering engineers to develop and execute cutting-edge control solutions for complex industrial systems. His ability to balance technical acumen with effective team management has made him a key asset in advancing ASC’s reputation as a leader in process control solutions.
Nick has been with ASC since 2018 as our Production Planner and is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing our production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements and company standards. Now in his new position as Business Automation Manager, Nick is responsible for the implementation of the new Appward app program at ASC.
As Managing Director of our UK division, Lukas leads our team with a strong vision and enthusiasm for our industry. He is responsible for setting and achieving strategic goals and ensures that the division builds and maintains strong relationships with both customers as well as suppliers to achieve long-term partnerships and success.
Lukas earned his PhD in 2007 from Brno University of Technology, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Czech Republic, and worked in the Aerospace industry in a variety of management and engineering roles prior to joining the ASC team in 2012.
In addition to his expertise in ASC Products and his long-time experience managing large-scale projects, Lukas is also skilled in setting up complex composites manufacturing facilities, making him a valuable resource and partner to ASC’s customers.
Alex is responsible for managing upgrades, equipment modernization, and installation of new and existing equipment. Alex supports the management of the department and creates and improves department processes and training. He received his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of California – Berkeley.
As President of ASC Process Systems, Bob brings a wealth of leadership experience and a deep understanding of the aerospace and manufacturing industries. With over 15 years in executive roles including Director of Engineering positions at both Dukes Aerospace and Donaldson, Bob has developed a comprehensive view of business operations across engineering, sales, quality, and production.
Bob's broad expertise and customer-focused approach make him a key leader in guiding ASC’s strategic direction and ensuring the company continues to meet the evolving needs of its global client base.
His professional foundation is matched by a diverse and accomplished educational background. Bob served six years as a U.S. Navy Nuclear Operator on Submarines, where he developed a strong technical and leadership skill set. He holds a bachelor’s degree, a master’s degree, and an MBA from the University of Minnesota. His credentials underscore his commitment to continuous learning and excellence in leadership.
Victor manages ASC's safety department. In this role, he develops, implements, and maintains EHS plans, safe work practices, and safe procedures for ASC's shop, office, and field activities. Victor comes to ASC with over 15 years of safety management experience. Prior to joining ASC, Victor developed and managed safety, health, and workers compensation programs at several large staffing and manufacturing companies.
Ben is responsible for the design and project management of new Econoclaves and received his Bachelor and Master degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern California.
Bradley is responsible for leading process optimization initiatives and management of the mechanical engineering team. Bradley possesses over 5 years of experience in the design and project management of new Econoclaves and industrial ovens. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Gonzaga University, where he graduated with honors.
Luke, UK division, is responsible for software configuration, PLC programming, startup, and commissioning of Econoclaves, ovens, and control system retrofits. Luke received his BTEC and NVQ Electrical/ Electronic Engineering Apprenticeship at Bournemouth College.
Anthony brings to ASC his experience in retail safety management to his role here at ASC. He is responsible for conducting safety training, safety inspection, and ensures employees comply with our safety policies.
Vanroy is responsible for the design and project management of Econoclaves and ovens. He received his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC Irvine.
Lorraine has over 20-years of experience in finance and office management. Lorraine manages the office at our facility in Poole, UK. She attended Thurrock Technical College and is responsible for accounts payable and receivable, project oversight, and compliance requirements.
Nick Schiavoni leads our Service and Support Sales with over 15 years of specialized experience in the hydraulic and pneumatic industries. His extensive knowledge and practical insight make him a key resource for customers seeking efficient, reliable solutions tailored to their specific needs.
Nick holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Fluid Power from Spokane Community College, giving him a strong technical foundation that complements his sales expertise. His deep understanding of fluid power systems enables him to provide strategic guidance and responsive support to clients across a variety of industries.

Cindy is responsible for the design and project management of Econoclaves and ovens. She received her Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC San Diego.
Chris is responsible for the design of electrical systems for Econoclaves and Ovens. Chris received his Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from CSUN.

Kelvyn is a dedicated Sales Representative in our Spare Parts Department, bringing a strong business and customer service background to every client interaction. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and combines his academic knowledge with real-world experience to deliver exceptional service and support.

Chad joined ASC Process Systems in 2022 as part of the oven sales team, bringing with him over eight years of experience in manufacturing equipment sales. In his role, Chad is responsible for the preliminary design and quoting of ASC’s advanced oven product lines, working closely with customers to identify tailored solutions that meet their technical and production requirements.

Horacio brings a unique blend of hands-on engineering experience and technical sales expertise to his Control Systems Sales Representative role. A former ASC Controls Engineer, Horacio was responsible for software configuration, PLC programming, startup, and commissioning of Econoclaves, ovens, and control system retrofits. This in-depth, field-based experience gives him a deep understanding of the systems he now represents.
In his current role, Horacio leverages his strong foundation in automation and CPC composite process control technologies to help clients achieve efficient, high-performance operation of Econoclaves and composite curing oven systems. His ability to bridge the gap between engineering and customer needs allows him to deliver tailored, effective solutions for a wide range of technical challenges.

Henry joined ASC in 2007 and has been a senior electrical lead and supervisor on many of our largest projects prior to his promotion to electrical production manager. As production manager, Henry is responsible for all aspects of electrical production and leads a large group of ASC electricians who admire and respect Henry for his vast job knowledge as well as his caring personality.

Franco is responsible for software configuration, PLC programming, startup, and commissioning of Econoclaves, ovens, and control system retrofits. Franco received his bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida.
Khoi is responsible for software configuration, PLC programming, startup, and commissioning of Econoclaves, ovens, and control system retrofits. Khoi received his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC San Diego.

Karina is the voice and face of ASC. Her receptionist duties include greeting visitors and directing calls to the appropriate parties at ASC.
